Cold polyurea is a high-performance material that offers an economical solution for fast and effective waterproofing. Cold polyurea, which can adapt to all kinds of surfaces and provides long-lasting waterproofing, is frequently preferred in the construction industry.
POLIUREA CO Polyurea Based Waterproofing
It is a two-component, polyurea based liquid material. Easy to apply. It is an economical waterproofing system that offers simple solutions. It forms a highly elastic film by adhering strongly to all kinds of surfaces.
Advantages
- Excellent mechanical properties.
- Provides effective resistance against chemicals.
- No toxic substances after curing.
- Effective in water vapor transmission. Since the film breathes, there is no moisture accumulation under the layer.
- Thermal resistance is excellent, the product never softens. Maximum service temperature is 90°C, maximum shock temperature is 200°C.
- It is resistant to cold: The film retains its elasticity up to -40°C.
Application Areas
- Gypsum cement panels are used with a suitable primer on tile/tile.
- It is used as the main waterproofing membrane in waterproofing systems of bathrooms, roofs, light roofs made of metal or fibrous cement, asphalt membranes, car parks.
- Used in stadium stands.
Application Features
- Application surfaces must be solid. It must have a high compressive strength of 25N/mm² and at least 1.5N/mm² for adhesion test. The surface must be free of factors that will affect adhesion performance such as loose, dismantled or loose concrete particles, oil and paint residues, cement grout residues. In addition, the application surfaces should be roughened and wiped with appropriate tools and machines. Wiped surfaces should be completely cleaned of dust with industrial type machines. Dust remaining in the surface pores may affect product performance and cause holes in the coating.
- Apply at least two coats with a roller or brush. Wait 4-12 hours between coats.
Warnings and Recommendations
Flammable, combustible and flammable products should be kept away during application. Smoking should be avoided. Care should be taken to ensure continuous ventilation of the application area. Protective equipment such as goggles and gloves should be used during application. In case of eye contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water. Request Material Safety Data Sheet for detailed information. Keep out of the reach of children. The product should be consumed by professional users, taking into account the data in the technical information section.
