DryFiX DFC 100 Two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin based, multipurpose epoxy primer.
It is used for saturation of concrete surfaces, cement mortars and screeds in industrial plants, as a barrier to prevent the plaster from being affected by solvent before painting plastered walls with solvent paint, as a transition primer before recoating floors coated with epoxy or polyurethane, as a primer before polyurea application, for saturation of unpainted wood surfaces that do not require UV resistance, as a resin in the production of putty by mixing calcite in concrete repairs.

Equipment Cleaning: Epoxy Thinner
Surface Preparation: Free particles and paint residues must be completely removed from the surface. Clean from dust, dirt and oil. Avoid application on damp surfaces. In cases where the humidity rate exceeds 10%, DFC-108 Damp surface primer should be preferred.
On surfaces to be repaired with epoxy putty, primer should be used first, then putty.
Preparation of the Mixture: Components A and B should be mixed for 3-4 minutes with the help of a mixer mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The prepared mixture should be poured onto the surface and spread evenly over the entire area with the help of a squeegee, trowel, roller, etc.
CAUTION! The entire mixed product should be poured onto the surface and used within 10 minutes. If you wait longer, the product will freeze in the package and become unusable.
To extend the usage time, you can take the prepared mixture out of the bucket and place it in a large container (e.g. plastic basin, etc.) to provide a longer working time.
If fillers such as quartz, silica or calcite are to be mixed into the primer, they should be added after components A and B have been mixed together.
Application Conditions: The compressive strength of concrete should be at least 25 N/mm² and tensile strength should be at least 1.5 N/mm² on the surfaces to be treated with epoxy primer.
On very absorbent surfaces, primer application should be continued layer after layer until the surface reaches sufficient saturation.
Even after the product has completed curing, there is a possibility that the epoxy primer and coating may be damaged and lifted from the surface in case of negative direction, pressurized moisture or water coming from the ground. Avoid application below 10°C and in humid environments.
The drying time of the product on the applied surface is 24 hours. Depending on weather conditions and ambient humidity conditions, it may take up to 36 hours. Do not apply any product before the primer is completely dry.
