Dryfix Pro Effect is a solvent-free epoxy resin based, self-leveling floor coating. With its special pearl pigments and dual-color combinations, it enables creative and decorative coating applications.
Main usage areas include kitchen countertops, tables, tiles, concrete, wood, metal, and marble surfaces. By properly sanding the surface with a sanding machine and using Dfc 100 Epoxy Primer, it covers a wide range of applications.
Note! Suitable for indoor use only.
It is a two-component system.
After mixing components A and B, it undergoes a chemical reaction and cures.
Has high fluidity, allowing it to spread very well on the applied surface.
Decorative patterns like marble effects can be created by applying contrasting colors on the base coat before it cures.
Creates a smooth and glossy coating.
The surface to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned, free from oils, dirt, silicone residues, or any contaminants that may prevent adhesion.
The surface must be sanded with a sanding machine to increase adhesion. Manual sanding is not recommended as it does not provide sufficient abrasion.
After sanding, apply Dryfix Dfc 100 Epoxy Primer and wait at least 24 hours, maximum 36 hours for curing.
Once the primer is fully cured and touch-dry, proceed with the Dryfix Pro Effect application. Mix components A and B in their original packaging for about 3 minutes.
The prepared mixture should be poured and spread slowly over the entire area.
Because the mixture’s pot life is short (10-15 minutes), apply quickly without waiting in the container.
– Use a trowel or similar tool to evenly distribute the mixture.
Within 1 hour of applying the base color and before curing starts, apply the second color with decorative patterns on top. To enhance the look, use a hairdryer to spread the second color.
Bubbles and foam on the surface can be removed using an epoxy spike roller, heat gun, or hairdryer.
– Touch-dry time: 24 hours. Full cure and load-bearing time: 7 days.
