Liquid Membrane Application Areas

Used on retaining walls, foundations, floors, and exterior basement walls; terraces, roofs, and similar dry or moist environments. Suitable for insulation of surfaces such as brick, metal, wood, concrete, pipes, aerated concrete, etc., and for protecting all kinds of concrete surfaces under soil against corrosion, including roof gutters.

Liquid Membrane Features

Maintains its properties between -20°C and +80°C. Has high elasticity and crack-bridging capability. High adhesion. Easily adheres to dry and slightly damp surfaces.

Application Instructions

The surface to be waterproofed must be clean and dry before primer application, with sufficient drainage and no ponding. On surfaces such as roofs and terraces prone to cracking, reinforcement mesh must be applied between layers.

Bitumen-Based Waterproofing Bitumer 100 Primer Application

DryFiX BITUMER 100 is diluted 1:1 with water and applied as a primer coat. Allow it to dry completely.

Application

After priming, apply DryFiX BITUMER 100 undiluted onto the surface with brush and roller in 2 coats. The second coat should be applied after the first coat is fully dry (4-5 hours). Each coat must be applied perpendicular to the previous one.

CONSUMPTION 1 kg / m² (for 1 mm thickness)
