Dryfix Two-Component Semi-Elastic Semi Flex 2K is a cement-based, polymer-modified, two-component, ready-to-use waterproofing mortar. It consists of a powder component (Component A) and a polymer emulsion-based liquid component (Component B). This semi-elastic, two-component waterproofing material is applied before ceramic tiling to provide waterproofing.
Used in wet areas such as terraces, balconies, and bathrooms, under ceramic tiles, on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Provides seamless waterproofing on the applied surface. Has a semi-elastic structure. Has high adhesion strength to the surface. Easy to apply.
Two-Component Semi-Elastic Semi Flex Application Instructions: The surface to be applied must be clean and dry, free from oil, dirt, or other materials that may prevent adhesion. Raw concrete and plastered surfaces should be lightly moistened with water before application and waited until no water pools remain while keeping the surface moist. Deep cracks and voids on the surface should be repaired with cement-based repair mortars.
The mixture should be prepared by slowly adding 5 kg of liquid component (B) to 20 kg of powder component (A), mixing with a mixer for approximately 3 minutes. After resting for 3 minutes, mix again.
The prepared mixture should be applied with a brush or trowel in at least 2 coats, applying subsequent coats in opposite directions. The pot life of the mixture is approximately 45 minutes. The waiting time between coats at 20°C is about 4 hours. For high-volume and flexible surfaces, reinforcement like mesh or fiberglass can be used between coats to strengthen the application.
CONSUMPTION Approximately 1 kg per coat. At least 2 coats should be applied.
STORAGE CONDITIONS Store unopened in original packaging in a dry and cool place.
