Dryfix Fire-Resistant Cable Paint Cable Paint is developed to prevent damage to electrical and communication cables during fire and to ensure the continuity of current flow inside the cable without interruption. It is an intumescent product.
When exposed to flame during a fire, it swells and expands in volume, thereby delaying the fire heat reaching the back surface (cable). It is a member of passive fire protection systems.
Can be used in data centers, transformers, power plants, many industrial facilities, petrochemical plants, and all structures where uninterrupted electric current and communication during fire are required.
It can be applied on cables without fire resistance and used on both old and new cables.
It is intumescent based.
Water-based, solvent-free.
Fire resistant for 60 minutes according to TS IEC 60331-21.
Does not cause voltage drop in the cables it is applied to.
Can be applied on single or multiple cables.
Forms an elastic film after drying.
Can be applied indoors and outdoors. UV resistant.
Color: White
Density: 1.30 kg/m³

Dryfix Cable Paint is ready to use. It is applied directly without primer. The cables and cable trays to be painted should be cleaned from oil, dirt, dust, and other residues that prevent paint adhesion.
The product should be mixed with a paint mixer for about 2-3 minutes until homogeneous and fluid.
The prepared paint should be applied evenly onto the cables using tools such as brush, roller, or airless machine.
The film thickness of the paint must be continuously checked with calibrated tools such as caliper, wet film gauge, or dry film thickness gauge.
Areas where the film thickness is below the specification should be marked and additional coats applied.
Thickness control should be repeated to ensure compliance with the specification.
Consumption: approx. 1.2 mm film thickness for 60 min fire resistance (2 kg/m²)
Packaging: 18 kg plastic bucket
Storage: Store unopened in original packaging in a cool, dry place.
Shelf Life: 12 months
